Worship

Worship is the heartbeat of our church.  It is the way we are identified and reclaimed as God’s people.  Through worship, we are encouraged and empowered to engage life with the truth, strength and love of God.

Our main worship service is held each Sunday at 11 am.  It includes prayer, Bible reading, singing by both choir and congregation, and a sermon, usually by our minister.

Our new hymnal, Hymns of Truth and Light, has added new depth and meaning to our worship experience.

Worship is followed by a coffee hour in our Fellowship Hall, where members have an opportunity to meet and greet our guests.

Special worship services are held on Ash Wednesday (sacrificial meal), Maundy Thursday (communion), Independence Day, A Moravian Love Feast (pre-Christmas) and Christmas Eve (candlelight service).
